Lee Byberg

Vidar (Lee) was born in Chicago but raised in South America and Norway where his parents served as missionaries and pastored churches. Lee and his wife Nancy raised their family in Minnesota where for over twenty years Lee served in leadership roles with a family of businesses ranging from agriculture to bioscience. With a heart for raising up a different generation, Lee left traditional business in 2014 to serve as CEO of Rivendell Education Company. Rivendell is the entity that developed the transformational core curriculum implemented by Excel College. Now in North Carolina as CEO, Lee leads the team that has expanded the program from an Associate’s Degree to the new Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees for Excel College.
